INTRODUCTION

Define a battle plan – a strategy, primarily military in origin. A plan to win a battle.  Battles make up the war. Winning or losing a single battle does not decide the outcome of the war. Men ought always to pray. Pray without ceasing.

Our fight is a spiritual one, it is spiritual warfare. One of our enemy’s chief weapons is deception and one of his main targets is our prayer life.

2 Corinthians 10:4 for our weapons are not carnal, but MIGHTY through God to the pulling down of strongholds – Places that have been fortified against attack.

The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ

Ephesians 6:18– the armor of God is incomplete without the final instructions…PRAY!!

The FOUR “D”s of prayer that will be a target of our study this summer:
